説 明

po4a ( PO for anything) プ ロ ジ ェ ク ト は 、 gettext ツ ー ル が 想 定 し て い な い ド キ ュ メ ン ト の よ う な 領 域 で 翻 訳 を し や す く す る こ と (ま た よ り 興 味 深 い の は 、 翻 訳 文 の 保 守 が し や す く な る こ と ) を 目 標 に し て い ま す 。

po4a-updatepo ス ク リ プ ト は 、 PO フ ァ イ ル の 更 新 を 担 当 し 、 オ リ ジ ナ ル ド キ ュ メ ン ト の フ ァ イ ル に 行 わ れ た 変 更 を 反 映 し ま す 。 そ の た め 、 ド キ ュ メ ン ト フ ァ イ ル を POT フ ァ イ ル に 変 換 し 、 msgmerge(1) を 呼 び 出 し て 、 こ の 新 し い POT フ ァ イ ル を PO フ ァ イ ル に 適 用 し ま す 。 複 数 の PO フ ァ イ ル と (複 数 の 言 語 を 一 度 に 更 新 す る 場 合 )、 あ る い は 複 数 の 文 書 フ ァ イ ル (複 数 の ド キ ュ メ ン ト の 翻 訳 を 同 じ PO フ ァ イ ル に 格 納 し た い 場 合 ) を 指 定 す る こ と も で き ま す 。 マ ス タ ー ド キ ュ メ ン ト が 非 ASCII 文 字 の 場 合 、 文 化 に 依 存 せ ず 非 標 準 文 字 を 許 容 で き る よ う に 、 PO フ ァ イ ル を UTF-8 に 変 換 し ま す (ま だ 変 換 し て い な い 場 合 )。

オ プ シ ョ ン

-f, --format 扱 う ド キ ュ メ ン ト の フ ォ ー マ ッ ト で す 。 有 効 な フ ォ ー マ ッ ト の 一 覧 を 見 る に は 、 --help-format オ プ シ ョ ン を 使 用 し て く だ さ い 。
-m, --master 翻 訳 す る マ ス タ ー ド キ ュ メ ン ト を 含 む フ ァ イ ル で す 。
-M, --master-charset 翻 訳 す る ド キ ュ メ ン ト を 含 む フ ァ イ ル の 文 字 セ ッ ト で す 。 す べ て の フ ァ イ ル が 、 同 じ 文 字 セ ッ ト を 使 用 し て い な け れ ば な ら な い こ と に 注 意 し て く だ さ い 。
-p, --po 更 新 す る PO フ ァ イ ル で す 。 フ ァ イ ル が 存 在 し な い 場 合 、 po4a-updatepo が 作 成 し ま す 。
-o, --option

Extra option(s) to pass to the format plugin. See the documentation of each plugin for more information about the valid options and their meanings. For example, you could pass ’-o tablecells’ to the AsciiDoc parser, while the text parser would accept ’-o tabs=split’.

--no-previous こ の オ プ シ ョ ン は 、 msgmerge に 渡 す オ プ シ ョ ン か ら --previous を 削 除 し ま す 。 こ れ に よ り 0.16 よ り 前 の gettext を サ ポ ー ト で き ま す 。
--previous こ の オ プ シ ョ ン は 、 msgmerge に 渡 す オ プ シ ョ ン に --previous を 追 加 し ま す 。 gettext 0.16 以 降 が 必 要 で 、 デ フ ォ ル ト で 有 効 で す 。

--porefs type[,wrap|nowrap]

Specify the reference format. Argument type can be one of never to not produce any reference, file to only specify the file without the line number, counter to replace line number by an increasing counter, and full to include complete references (default: full). 引 数 に は コ ン マ を 続 け た 後 に wrap ま た は nowrap キ ー ワ ー ド の ど ち ら か を 付 け ら れ ま す 。 デ フ ォ ル ト で は 、 リ フ ァ レ ン ス は 1 行 で 書 き 出 さ れ ま す 。 wrap オ プ シ ョ ン は 、 gettext ツ ー ル (xgettext や msgmerge) の よ う に リ フ ァ レ ン ス を 複 数 行 に 折 り 返 し ま す 。 こ ち ら の オ プ シ ョ ン の 方 が よ り 気 が 利 い て い る た め 、 将 来 の リ リ ー ス で デ フ ォ ル ト と な り ま す 。 元 の 挙 動 の ま ま に し て お き た い ユ ー ザ は 、 nowrap オ プ シ ョ ン を 使 用 で き ま す 。

--wrap-po no|newlines|number (default: 76)

Specify how the po file should be wrapped. This gives the choice between either files that are nicely wrapped but could lead to git conflicts, or files that are easier to handle automatically, but harder to read for humans.

Historically, the gettext suite has reformatted the po files at the 77th column for cosmetics. This option specifies the behavior of po4a. If set to a numerical value, po4a will wrap the po file after this column and after newlines in the content. If set to newlines, po4a will only split the msgid and msgstr after newlines in the content. If set to no, po4a will not wrap the po file at all. The wrapping of the reference comments is controlled by the --porefs option.

Note that this option has no impact on how the msgid and msgstr are wrapped, ie on how newlines are added to the content of these strings.

--msgid-bugs-address email@address
