説 明

dpkg−gencontrol は 展 開 さ れ た Debian ソ ー ス ツ リ ー か ら 情 報 を 読 み 取 り 、 バ イ ナ リ パ ッ ケ ー ジ の control フ ァ イ ル (デ フ ォ ル ト で は debian/tmp/DEBIAN/control) を 生 成 す る 。 生 成 の 過 程 で 、 関 連 す る フ ィ ー ル ド の 単 純 化 も 行 う 。

Thus Pre−Depends, Depends, Recommends and Suggests are simplified in this order by removing dependencies which are known to be true according to the stronger dependencies already parsed. It will also remove any self−dependency (in fact it will remove any dependency which evaluates to true given the current version of the package as installed). Logically it keeps the intersection of multiple dependencies on the same package. The order of dependencies is preserved as best as possible: if any dependency must be discarded due to another dependency appearing further in the field, the superseding dependency will take the place of the discarded one.

The other relation fields (Enhances, Conflicts, Breaks, Replaces and Provides) are also simplified individually by computing the union of the various dependencies when a package is listed multiple times in the field.

−Vname=value 変 数 を 設 定 す る 。 出 力 時 の 置 換 に 関 す る 詳 細 は 、 deb−substvars(5) を 参 照 の こ と 。
−Tsubstvars−file

Read substitution variables in substvars−file; the default is debian/substvars. This option can be used multiple times to read substitution variables from multiple files (since dpkg 1.15.6).

−Dfield=value 出 力 制 御 フ ァ イ ル の フ ィ ー ル ド を 上 書 き も し く は 追 加 す る 。

debian/files の 代 わ り に こ の フ ァ イ ル に 記 載 さ れ た フ ァ イ ル の リ ス ト を 読 み 書 き す る 。

−Fchangelog−format

changelog フ ァ イ ル の フ ォ ー マ ッ ト を 指 定 す る 。 指 定 可 能 な フ ォ ー マ ッ ト に つ い て の 情 報 は 、 dpkg−parsechangelog(1) を 参 照 の こ と 。

−ppackage バ イ ナ リ パ ッ ケ ー ジ package の 情 報 を 生 成 す る 。 ソ ー ス 制 御 フ ァ イ ル に 単 一 の バ イ ナ リ パ ッ ケ ー ジ だ け が 記 載 さ れ て い た 場 合 、 こ の オ プ シ ョ ン は 省 略 し て も よ い 。 そ れ 以 外 の 場 合 は 、 ど の バ イ ナ リ パ ッ ケ ー ジ の 情 報 を 生 成 す る か を 選 択 す る 上 で 、 こ の オ プ シ ョ ン が 不 可 欠 で あ る 。
−nfilename 通 常 の package_version_arch.deb と い う フ ァ イ ル 名 で は な く 、 パ ッ ケ ー ジ の フ ァ イ ル 名 を filename と す る 。
−is, −ip, −isp

These options are ignored for compatibility with older versions of the dpkg build scripts but are now deprecated. Previously they were used to tell dpkg−gencontrol to include the Section and Priority fields in the control file. This is now the default behaviour. If you want to get the old behaviour you can use the −U option to delete the fields from the control file.

−Ppackage−build−dir

dpkg−source に 対 し て 、 パ ッ ケ ー ジ を debian/tmp で は な く package−build−dir 内 で ビ ル ド す る よ う に 設 定 す る 。 こ の 値 は Installed−Size 変 数 や 制 御 フ ァ イ ル フ ィ ー ル ド の 値 の デ フ ォ ル ト 値 を (du を 用 い て ) 算 出 す る 際 に 用 い ら れ る 他 、 出 力 フ ァ イ ル の デ フ ォ ル ト の 場 所 と し て も 用 い ら れ る 。

−O[filename]

Print the control file to standard output (or filename if specified, since dpkg 1.17.2), rather than to debian/tmp/DEBIAN/control (or package−build−dir/DEBIAN/control if −P was used).

−?, −−help 利 用 方 法 を 表 示 し て 終 了 す る 。
−−version バ ー ジ ョ ン 情 報 を 表 示 し て 終 了 す る 。
